Owning A Small Business

For my entire life I have been in and around small business. You could say entrepreneurship is in my blood :)
👉 I have helped manage a women’s clothing boutique with my beautiful Mum - Just Country - that sold the clothing label she proudly started with her Mumma many years ago.
👉 This boutique later becoming Willow & Fli (this might be a story for another day - Willow being for my Mumma and Fli being me :) that we owned together. Now the boutique is operated and owned by my Aunt.
👉 My Dad has owned his own business for over 10 years using his talent and creativity for design.
So to me, being a business owner is second nature.. and something that I absolutely admire + adore!

But, it certainly hasn’t all been fun and games. The world of small business can teach you a whole book on life lessons + worldly experiences. With every “high high” I feel as though there have been equal “low lows”, that in their own unique way shape the person that you become - but for the better.
… And, that’s the thing. It doesn’t only have the power to shape the person you become, but by owning a small business you have the power to impact + change the world and when I discovered the journey of self development alongside owning a small business, that is when I realised the power that we truly hold!
In 2020 when Covid-19 impacted the world + left small business owners wondering what was next, I channelled all my courage and decided to go ALL IN!
I pushed forward a dream to start an online digital course that would help small business owners in regional Australia create the business of their dreams - that not only provides for them and their family’s, but brings happiness in every aspect!
After all, our work is such a big part of our life and if we aren't happy in what we do, then other areas of our life will suffer too.
It all began with a digital course. I used my website, Zoom + Facebook, invited local business owners to participate and had 5, incredibly talented, AMAZING business owners sign up! They put their trust in me and indirectly helped me to develop a digital course that has gone above + beyond what I ever expected!

Marketing
Creating a Following
Tools and Processes
… and with every module, lesson + training, the experiences each business owner had at the time helped shape the information provided in the course. Even now the course continues to grow - call it live training, but to me, we should never stop learning or growing!
But the most powerful resource to come…
… the membership group opened alongside the course!
The idea was to ALSO offer an easily accessible platform to help encourage and support the members of the digital course alongside their learning journey. So that they receive the help they need to implement as they learn :) Every week, offering new teachings through weekly coaching + support calls with the opportunity to ask questions and participate in a group environment - with other like minded small business owners.
Words can not explain this experience!

So, why am I sharing this with you? Because, creating that digital course was just the start! It made me realise that I want to help EVERY SMALL BUSINESS in regional Australia create + grow a profitable business that lights you up and fulfils that burning desire you have to live life from your passion!
Regardless of your circumstances
Regardless of what you have grown up to believe
Regardless of where you are located

I want to reach every regional business to share and contribute the learnings that have helped me SO much so that no small business owner feels like they have to do it alone!

You as my audience, readers, followers + supporters <3 You were my inspiration to start this journey in the first place!
